Featuring face to face encounter with sharks
Among the sharks that you may encounter include majestic tiger sharks,
gray reef sharks, hammerheads and the smaller sand sharks
If getting face to face with nature's most feared predators doesn't make
your pulse race, nothing will. With our North Shore Shark Adventure you
can safely get close to real sharks in their own environment , the
ocean. Nothing is more exciting.
After a 15-minute boat ride out of lovely Haleiwa harbor, you'll reach
the ''shark grounds,'' where the sharks will show up as soon as they
hear the engine of the boat. Sometimes there are up to 30 of them.
You'll be Safe and Sound in a High-Tech Shark Cage
If you dare, you can climb into the shark cage and ease down into the
water so that the awesome gray fishes with the toothy smiles can come
real close and check out lunch (you!) Don't worry, though, it's
perfectly safe, for people of any age. So there?s no need to panic when
that 10 foot long Galapagos shark presses his nose against the cage!
Occasionally, dolphins escort the boat out to the shark grounds and
back. And during the winter, the massive Pacific humpback whales are
often seen.
No experience necessary!
All you'll need is a swimsuit. No diving experience is required, and
there's no age limit, either. It's perfectly safe, too, they haven't
lost anyone yet!
It's a rare day when someone doesn't tell the crew ''This is the best
thing I've ever done!'' You'll have a story to tell, guaranteed! So take
an adventure you will never forget. This is a very popular tour, so make
sure you reserve your spot early.
