Beach Luau is hosted every Monday evening at the ''Pink Palace of the
Pacific'' -- the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. It provides both excellent food
and classic Polynesian entertainment in a warm and gracious manner that
brings you back to old Hawaii. The Hotel grounds are simply
breathtaking, with a stunning view of Diamond Head, and every aspect of
the Luau, from the flower lei greeting to the sumptuous feast to the
fire knife dance that closes the show, will make this an evening to
remember.
When you arrive at this classic luau celebration, you'll be greeted with
a flower lei and an invitation to enjoy Mai Tais or Luau Punch on the
Ocean Lawn. As you relax and sip your drinks, your senses can drink in
the excellent views of those fabulous Hawaiian mainstays, Waikiki Beach
and Diamond Head Crater. After the imu ceremony, you'll be treated to a
decadently delicious luau buffet loaded down with Island specialties.
After dinner comes the unforgettable Royal Polynesian Extravaganza,
which exposes you to Native Hawaiian and Polynesian culture through the
media of song and dance.
