Beach in Paia, 38 (downhill) miles down the line. The excursion includes
tours of the House of the Sun Visitors Center and Haleakala Visitor
Center, and your guides will fill the time between with interesting
stories about the history and geology of this slumbering giant. You'll
also have lunch at the unrivaled Sunrise Market and Protea Flower Farm
before continuing on down the mountain.
